Sims 4 Zen Garden & Sand Garden CC

I think it’s safe to say that The Sims 4 Zen Garden & Sand Garden CC can be quite stressful at times, both for the Sims themselves and for us gamers.Almost every day is a routine, just trying to earn enough money to pay the bills while struggling to get enough food, sleep, and relaxation.

That certainly hits close to home, right?

Fortunately, creating a quiet and peaceful space in The Sims is much easier than in real life.

With all the wonderful CC out there, your Sims will have plenty of Zen garden supplies, inside or out!

1. Zen Garden Sand Floor Tile

If you want to build your Sims their own interactive Zen garden (either on their lot or in a park), this CC is really the first step.

Sure, there are some sandy terrain paintings in the game. But none like this.

These tiles come pre-raked, so your floor will be clean and satisfying right from the start.

It is also five tiles in size, perfect for any backyard.

2. Japanese rock garden

The ‘rules’ surrounding these rock gardens are quite broad.

At its most basic, it seems like all you really need is water, rocks, and sand.

But there are still plenty of ways to expand on those concepts, as this batch from SimValera demonstrates.

This creator was clearly heavily inspired by the homeland of the Zen garden.

This wonderful little park even features some Japanese architecture and decoration. Even the trees are a nod to the beautiful nature of the country.

Stone statues, water fountains, and sand paths are the perfect way to make peace and quiet available to everyone.

3. TS2 to TS4 Zen Garden as a dollhouse

Children need reassurance too, right?

He would probably at least help his parents.

This CC conversion of The Sims 2 allows the children of The Sims 4 to have their own Zen garden.

It works like a dollhouse, so they can even play in it. That’s quite appropriate if you ask me.

Most kids probably won’t be interested in raking sand or decorating a piece of sand. But play in it? Hell yes!

Basically, this is the sandbox that all family gamers have been waiting for years, with a nice zen twist.

4. Sand (ground game)

Here are a few more ways to customize your Sim’s sandy spaces.

This CC set contains six different sand soil terrain samples in all different colors and textures.

From the white sands, you see on the Atlantic beaches to the dark sands of the lakes, there are many options available here.

They even come in varying degrees of flat or wavy styles.

It’s up to you if you want a calm or sandy look that looks like it has seen some action.

5. Decorative Zen garden

If it’s less of a project and more of an interior accent piece that you want, then this little item from CC maker kardofe is what you need.

It’s a small tabletop Zen garden complete with a rake, stones, and candles.

Your Sims are sure to appreciate this in their living room, bedroom, office, heck, maybe even the laundry room.

The whole house can benefit from a little peace and quiet, right?

6. Functional Water Pump and Jangdoks

I know that Zen gardens are traditionally from Japanese culture. But the beauty of The Sims is that you can mix things up a bit.

Sometimes it is even necessary to get the right look.

And these OhMySims items will fit perfectly in your garden.

Everyone knows how relaxing water is. So what better way to incorporate that into The Sims than with a working water pump?

After a day of caring for their beautiful plants and sand, your Sims will never have to leave the sanctity of the great outdoors to wash their hands.

Also included here are some jangdoks, basically open-air vessels. There are various sizes here, and one even contains some water lilies, like the most adorable miniature pond in the world.

7. Bird Bath + Bird Effects

Some people may disagree, but for me, nothing is more relaxing than appreciating wildlife.

And you don’t have to go to a zoo to do that (not like you can in The Sims… yet).

Your Sims can finally appreciate the beauty of nature right from their backyard with a custom birdbath.

And now that object is no longer a statue that will never see a single feathered friend.

Thanks to Bakie, he’s now animated!

Once placed in your lot, a blue jay and an American goldfinch will appear perched on the back, pecking at the water.

8. The mess in Edith’s garden

Once your sand garden is adorned with decorations, plants, and terrain, your Sims will need a place to sit and enjoy it.

There are already some benches in the game, sure. But it is always good to have some items that do not appear also in the public park.

The hanging chair included here is an outdoor Zen Sim’s dream.

Place it under any tree to really immerse yourself in nature.

This CC set also includes some messier decorative elements, allowing you to even have a ‘work in progress’ zen garden if you like. Compost sacks definitely say there is work to be done!

9. Tree bench

This bench is another lovely way to make seating a part of the garden.

It’s just a circular seat that wraps around a tree, so your Sims can be surrounded by nature from all angles.

Again, this is a converted item from The Sims 2. People were clearly a lot more zen in 2004.

These beautiful weathered wood samples will fit perfectly into any rugged outdoor space, while the painted options will give a slightly more polished look.

10. Source of flames

With the everlasting love of flames in this franchise, it wouldn’t make sense not to have a source of flames.

I think this is a perfect way to keep the game’s lighthearted style, as well as include some history.

Over the past three installments, these creatures have become beloved characters time and again.

This large fountain will make a great addition to your Zen or sand garden, whether on land or in the water. That’s right, it will work on both!

So feel free to go wild with outdoor plants and ponds, with this Sims 4 Zen Garden & Sand Garden CC as the centerpiece.
